REGISTRATION

The target audience of the summer school is PhD students who are not in their first year of studies, and post-docs within three years of obtaining their PhD.

To apply please send the following documents to metalsinbiology2024@itqb.unl.pt by 31st of January 2024 as a single PDF file:

i) CV

ii) A recommendation letter from the current or previous supervisor

iii) Motivation letter

The registration fee is 575 euros. It includes the participation in all the sessions, coffee breaks, accommodation, breakfast and dinner between the May 26th and 2nd June.

A limited number of FEBS Youth Travel Funds (YTF) Awards are available to support the participation of early-career scientists in this event.

The selection of applicants to receive FEBS YTF awards will be carried out by the Course Organizers and approved by the FEBS Treasury Office according to the FEBS YTF eligibility criteria.

In order to apply for the FEBS YTF award:

Please check eligibility guidelines and make sure you are eligible to apply.
In the motivation letter, please indicate your interest in applying for a FEBS YTF award.
And proof of membership of a constituent scientific society (see elegibility guidelines)
